Almost all our cabinet boxes are plywood with a hardwood face frame. Drawers and doors are made with solid hardwoods. Like the best cabinets, drawers are dovetailed. Hinges are adjustable and concealed. Most lines feature soft close hardware.
Cabinets come with sides finished to match the face. Side panels are flat and recess 1/4" from the face frame. It is presentable but there are a couple of alternate methods. One is to order full sheet of 1/4" material with same finish and apply to side for a flush look. A further embellishment would be to add a finished panel to that. Finished panels match doors: they are a bit narrower than the end of the cabinet so you see some of the flat panel behind them (either at the front or back edge, or both if centered.)
It is possible to custom finish the cabinetry. Finish options include solid color paint, toning stained finishes, and glazing stained or painted finishes. Our custom finishes are expensive but they are extremely durable and of very high quality. The look is very similar to what we can achieve with our full custom cabinetry.
